The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, is in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District today for the government's "Accounting to the People" tour, giving residents a direct platform to question their leaders on development projects and public spending.

The Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Assembly, under the leadership of DCE Hon. Andrews Kojo Duodu, is expected to present a scorecard of completed and ongoing projects across education, health, water, and roads. The district has previously announced that several Common Fund projects were nearing completion, including CHPS compounds at Denkyendua and Ajumako Hasowodze, a three-unit JHS classroom block at Breman Essiam, six-unit classroom blocks at Ajumako and Essaman, and mechanised boreholes across the district .

Roads are likely to dominate discussions. Under the government's Big Push Programme, 81.3 kilometres of roads are being rehabilitated across 13 communities in the district, with physical completion reported at 73 percent . The enclaves cover Essiam, Ajumako, and Abaasa, touching communities including Mando, Assasan, Ampia, and Enyamaim. Residents are expected to seek clarity on timelines, given that the project is scheduled for completion in November 2027 .

The Minister has used similar forums in other districts to warn that funds meant for development but left idle in district accounts could be recalled by the Regional Coordinating Council . He has also urged assemblies to maintain verifiable records of projects so residents can independently assess development in their communities.

The open forum will give residents from farming communities across the district the chance to raise concerns about feeder roads, water access, and other local needs directly with the Minister and district officials.
