A 600 capacity girls’ dormitory and a 6 unit classroom block were handed over to Enyan Dankyira Senior High Technical School

During the commissioning, Hon. Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, DCE of the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District implored the traditional council to participate in ensuring the projects were protected to serve both present abs future generations of students.

Mr Ransford expressed his satisfaction about the extent of quality job executed by the contractors. Recounting the excellent contribution of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa-Addo to infrastructural development to second cycle institutions in the District, the Chief Executive enumerated a list of projects in the five Second cycle institutions in his district.

“President Akufo-Addo’s government has provided all the five Senior High schools in Ajumako Enyan Essiam district with one infrastructure or the other”. Bisease SHS now has a 600 capacity girl’s dorm in use. There is an ongoing ultra-modern science lab and another two storey girls dorm.

At Mando Senior High, one could count about fifteen different magnificent projects including two or more dormitories, GNPC projects, bungalows etc.He added that as a result of the dormitory provided for Ajumako Afranse Technical institute, enrollment had increased and students are punctual to class after the institute was enrolled unto the free TVET policy by the government.

ABATECH is equally enjoying a 6 unit classroom block and a modern sanitary facility.

The head master of EDENSTECH indicated how proud the school was to have had two projects commissioned on the same day. He promised to put the facilities handed to the school to good use. Mr Daniel Asante encouraged his students to study hard and get good grades from using these excellent facilities that ensure effective teaching and learning.

Osabarima Otsibu Kwao VI, the paramount chief the people of Enyan Denkyira traditional area who came with his nananom, thanked the government for ensuring that apart from the free SHS, infrastructure is also being provided for existing Senior High Schools for which EDENSTECH is a beneficiary

The girls’ dormitory comes with 12 bedrooms fitted with lights and ceiling fans. There are modern toilet facilities and bathrooms fitted with showers. There are two large laundry rooms, two ironing centers, two store rooms for students to keep their boxes and six polytanks for storing water.

The facility has a complete flat for a tutor. The components of the flat are, two bedrooms, a living area, toilet and bath and a Kitchen. This was done to house at least a tutor who would monitor activities of the girls.

The six unit classroom block has in each room modern tables and chairs, ceiling fans and lighting. The compound is greened with love grasses
