visited Enyan Nkwodo to perform the sod-cutting ceremony for an eight-bedroom self-contained bungalow with mechanized borehole designated for teachers in the Enyan
Nkwodo area. The event was attended by the Chief and Queen Mother of Enyan Nkwodo, the Asafo group, elders, teachers, and students from Enyan Nkwodo as well as various residents of the community.
The contract for the project was awarded by Ghana Gas Company Limited to B.N. Bency Company Limited, following a proposal drafted by the DCE and the Parliamentary Candidate to support the residents of Nkwodo. The contractor in his remarks assured the community that work on the project would commence immediately after the sod-cutting ceremony, with an estimated completion time of approximately three months. He also indicated that his company would employ residents to assist with the construction.

The representative from the District Education Directorate commended the initiative as a significant step towards addressing the accommodation challenges faced by teachers, which often lead to their departure from the district. He emphasized that the Ghana Education Service of the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam would ensure the proper use and maintenance of the project, thereby providing a comfortable living environment for future teachers assigned to the district. He added that it would encourage them to remain and educate the children.
