Government empowers PWDs in Ajumako Enyan Essiam

The Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Assembly has disbursed a portion of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the district to alleviate their burdens and help them engage in income-generating activities.

During a ceremony on Monday, August 19, 2024, the District Chief Executive (DCE), District Coordinating Director (DCD), department heads, executives of the Disability Fund Management Committee (DFMC), and members of disability groups participated in this significant event, which took place in Ajumako.

The government, through the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Chief Executive, provided the PWDs with business startups by distributing items such as pepper

grinding machines, fufu pounding machines, deep freezers, sewing machines, gari frying pot, hair dressing dryers, palm kennel machines, and bags of charcoal.
