AJUMAKO-ENYAN-ESSIAM ASSEMBLY HOLDS SUCCESSFUL FIRST ORDINARY MEETING

The First Ordinary Meeting of the Ninth Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Assembly was held on Friday 9th August 2024, bringing Assembly Members and Heads of Departments of the district together. The meeting provided a platform for critical discussions and decision-making on key matters of the Assembly.

A major highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Sessional Address and Executive Committee Report by the District Chief Executive. These reports outlined the Assembly’s achievements and challenges over the past period, as well as its plans for the future. Following deliberations, the Assembly Members accepted both reports.

Another significant agenda item was the presentation of the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review. This comprehensive assessment of the district’s financial performance provided valuable insights into revenue generation, expenditure, and resource allocation. After careful consideration, the Assembly approved the Mid-Year Budget Review.

The Public Relations and Complaints Committee Report was also presented and discussed. The Presiding Member detailed the Committee’s activities and accomplishments in promoting transparency, and accountability and addressing the concerns of residents. Following the presentation, the Assembly Members unanimously agreed to accept the report.

In conclusion, the First Ordinary Meeting of the Ninth Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Assembly was a productive gathering that showcased the Assembly’s commitment to effective governance and community development. The decisions made during the meeting will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the lives of residents in the district.
